Agroperfect Integrated Crop Programs Greenhouse Tomato

Integrated Greenhouse Tomato Program

A full-season program for the protected crop — pairing stage-based nutrition with effective crop protection to drive strong establishment, balanced growth, stable fruit set, and high, continuous production of firm, well-coloured, high-value fruit.

The program

A protected crop, built for balanced growth and high-quality, high-value fruit.

Agroperfect developed this integrated greenhouse tomato program for balanced growth, stable fruit set, and high quality — combining stage-based nutrition with effective crop protection across the whole season under glass and plastic.

Nutrition is timed to each growth stage, from establishment through vegetative growth, flowering, fruit set, and fruit development; protection runs alongside it, holding back the diseases and insects that most affect the crop and its fruit in the warm, humid greenhouse environment.

Two tracks, one calendar

How the program is built

Nutrition and crop protection run in parallel through the same growth stages — so feeding the crop and defending it are planned as one schedule, from establishment through full production.

Nutrition program

Establish strong, then build the fruit

Open the season with NPK and poly sulphate plus salinity management and chelated iron for strong establishment, then drive vegetative growth with high-phosphorus foliar nutrition and micronutrients. Position boron, calcium and nitrogen around flowering and fruit set, then carry high-potassium, calcium- and magnesium-rich nutrition through fruit development — finishing with amino-acid potassium feed under heavy load for firm, well-coloured, high-quality fruit.

Crop protection program

Protect from seed to harvest

Start at the seed with treatment against soil-borne disease, then open the insect window as pressure builds against whiteflies, leaf miners and mites. Hold the disease-control window through flowering and fruiting — when blight, powdery mildew and grey mould do most damage in the humid greenhouse — with every application matched to conditions to protect the canopy, the trusses, and final fruit quality.

Built for the harvest

Every stage points toward high, continuous production

A crop that establishes strong, stays balanced, and is well protected sets stable trusses and fills firm, well-coloured fruit. From the first true leaves onward, the program is tuned to convert crop vigour into continuous production, fruit quality, and market value.

The season, stage by stage

Season roadmap

Each growth stage below shows both tracks together — what to feed the crop, and what to protect it from — so the whole season reads as one plan.

Nutrition Crop protection

01

Establishment

Transplant & rooting

Set up strong roots and even establishment, manage salinity, and protect the young plant from soil-borne disease.

Nutrition
NPK + Poly Sulphate Balanced base nutrition with sulphur, magnesium, and calcium to drive root development and strong establishment.
SALINITYFIX Manages soil and water salinity early so young roots establish freely in the protected environment.
Chelated Iron Prevents early iron chlorosis and keeps young transplants green and active.
Crop protection
Seed treatmentTESTRA Protects the seed and seedling against soil-borne disease and damping-off for even, healthy establishment.

02

Vegetative Growth

Active growth

Build a strong stem and canopy, correct micronutrients, and open the insect window as pressure begins.

Nutrition
FOLIAFERT 10-52-10 + TE High-phosphorus foliar feed to drive root activity, energy transfer, and vigorous early growth.
AGROFERT Mn 5% + Zn 2% Corrects manganese and zinc demand to support enzyme activity and balanced vegetative development.
Crop protection
InsectsACTIVE THIA Applied as pest pressure builds to manage whiteflies and aphids on growing leaves and shoots.

03

Flowering

The yield-defining window

Position boron, calcium and nitrogen for a strong bloom, and open the disease-control window for the trusses.

Nutrition
AGROFERT Boron 10% Supports pollen viability, flower formation, and fruit set during the critical flowering window.
AGROFERT N + Ca Nitrogen and calcium to support flower quality, cell-wall strength, and even early fruit set.
Crop protection
DiseaseMELDAX · POLOGOLD Open the disease window ahead of and through flowering to protect against blight and early leaf disease.
InsectsTARGET Manages whiteflies and sucking pests as populations build around the flowering trusses.

04

Fruit Set

First trusses setting

Secure an even, stable set with boron and a setting feed, and hold disease and mite protection tight.

Nutrition
DISBONDA Supports stable fruit set and even truss development through the critical setting window.
AGROFERT Boron 10% Keeps successive flowers setting fruit and reduces poor or uneven set across the trusses.
Crop protection
DiseaseORDES · KARBISMAX Maintained through set — when flowers and young fruit are most vulnerable to mildew and grey mould.
Insects & mitesVERMACTIN · KRETYOS Manages leaf miners and spider mites that scar setting fruit and weaken the crop.

05

Fruit Development

Fruit sizing & filling

Feed sizing fruit with potassium, calcium and magnesium, sustain the canopy, and keep protection tight.

Nutrition
FOLIAFERT 7-5-42.5 + Mg + TE High-potassium foliar feed with magnesium to size fruit, build colour, and improve firmness and quality.
3-0-27 + Amino Acids + Organic Matter High-potassium feed with amino acids and organic matter to power fruit filling and sustain quality.
AGROFERT Ca + N + Mg Maintains calcium, nitrogen and magnesium to reduce disorders and keep the canopy feeding the fruit.
Crop protection
DiseaseMELDAX · POLOGOLD Continued to protect developing fruit and the canopy from blight and leaf disease.
InsectsTARGET · PHANTOM Manages whiteflies and leaf miners that scar fruit and downgrade quality during development.

06

Under High Production

Continuous peak harvest

Replenish potassium and energy under heavy fruit load to hold yield, quality, and market value to harvest.

Nutrition
3-0-27 + Amino Acids + Organic Matter Sustained high-potassium nutrition to keep successive trusses sizing and holding quality through the harvest.
SALINITYFIX Maintains plant performance under salinity stress during the demanding continuous-production phase.
Crop protection
Disease, as neededORDES · KARBISMAX Applied according to pressure to protect the dense canopy and maturing fruit through the heaviest harvest.
Insects & mites, as neededVERMACTIN · KRETYOS · PHANTOM Applied according to pest pressure to keep peak-load fruit clean and marketable.

Know the threats

Main pests & diseases this program targets

The protection track is built around the threats that most damage greenhouse tomatoes — here's what to watch for under glass, and which products manage each.

Fungal disease

Late & early blight

Phytophthora infestans · Alternaria solani

Dark, spreading lesions on leaves, stems and fruit collapse the canopy fast in warm, humid greenhouse air — cutting yield before fruit fills.

Managed with MELDAX · POLOGOLD

Fungal disease

Powdery mildew

Leveillula taurica

Pale patches and dusty white growth on leaves reduce photosynthesis, weaken the plant, and downgrade fruit size and quality.

Managed with KARBISMAX · ORDES

Fungal disease

Grey mould

Botrytis cinerea

Fuzzy grey growth rots stems, flowers and fruit in the humid greenhouse — thriving on dense canopies and wounds, and spoiling fruit fast.

Managed with ORDES · KARBISMAX

Insect · sap feeder

Whiteflies

Bemisia tabaci

Clouds of tiny white flies weaken plants, deposit sticky honeydew that grows sooty mould, and transmit damaging viruses.

Managed with ACTIVE THIA · TARGET

Insect · borer

Tomato leaf miner

Tuta absoluta

Larvae tunnel through leaves and bore into fruit, leaving blotchy mines and entry holes that ruin quality and open the way to rots.

Managed with VERMACTIN · PHANTOM

Mite

Two-spotted spider mite

Tetranychus urticae

Fine stippling and webbing on leaves bronze and dry the canopy in hot, dry greenhouse conditions, stressing the crop and cutting yield.

Managed with VERMACTIN · KRETYOS
